Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, AP/AR validation, bank postings, and payroll-related entries.
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification, documentation, and audit trail.
Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations (including intercompany, accruals, and prepayments), identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Support and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, ensuring accurate cut-off and completeness of financial data.
Ensure proper accounting treatment of revenue, cost of sales, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support tax filings and statutory reporting, in coordination with external advisors.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies, maintaining strong accounting controls and documentation.
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and timely resolution of queries.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial input and alignment with business activities.
Analyze financial data to identify variances, inconsistencies, and potential risks, supporting management reporting.
Contribute to process improvements and automation, enhancing efficiency and reliability of accounting operations.
Profile Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (essential).
Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in multi-entity or international environments.
Exposure to IFRS and intercompany accounting.
Professional certification (e.g., CECCAR, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting (IFRS/GAAP).
Proven experience with general ledger and closing processes.
Solid understanding of reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Clear communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience in telecom, SaaS, or high-volume transactional environments.
Understanding of usage-based revenue models.
Experience with intercompany reconciliations across jurisdictions.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, etc.).
Exposure to tax compliance and audit processes.
Process improvement and automation mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
